Pelaksanaan Supervisi Pendidikan Kepala Sekolah Di Sma Negeri I Baitussalam Kabupaten Aceh Besar
Abstract
The aim of the research is to analyze the implementation of the principal's academic supervision at senior high school Negeri I Baitussalam, Aceh Besar Regency and to analyze administrative supervision at SMA Negeri I Baitussalam, Aceh Besar Regency using a qualitative approach. Determining informants was carried out using purposive sampling and data collection techniques through interview observation and documentation. The results of the research show that the implementation of the principal's academic supervision in developing student competencies has not gone well because in preparing learning plans teachers have not been able to create different and varied strategies. Likewise, the development of students' competencies, especially teachers, in introducing an interesting phenomenon that students had never previously recognized was not realized. The research conclusions show. The importance of educational supervision carried out by school principals is to develop student competencies, including curriculum development by compiling and designing learning plans in accordance with the learning plan based on the sequence of learning materials and selecting learning materials in accordance with the instructional objectives to be achieved. The directing function is also not well coordinated. This condition can get worse if it is not coordinated from planning, implementation, to evaluation.
